New Delhi: Sonakshi Sinha feels her upcoming movie 'Once Upon a Time In Mumbaai Dobara' is the perfect release to come after her intense portrayal in 'Lootera'.
The 26-year-old says the Milan Luthria directed drama was an equally challenging role and will see her in a very different light from the 1950's set period film 'Lootera'.
"This particular role of Jasmine in 'OUATIMD' is the perfect thing to come after 'Lootera'. This again is a very challenging role and it is entertaining at the same time. It was challenging to have separate chemistry with Akshay and Imran's character at the same time," Sonakshi told PTI.
The Indian crime gangster film is a sequel to 2010 release 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai'.
The movie commences from where the previous film ended with Shoaib Khan (Akshay Kumar) being the reigning don after successfully assassinating his mentor as well as his predecessor, Sultan Mirza (Ajay Devgn).
The cast is completely new and besides Sonakshi and Akshay, it stars Imran Khan as Aslam and Sonali Bendre as Mumtaz Khan. It will hit the theaters on August 15.
Sonakshi says she goes by her instincts while signing a films.
"I have never planned anything. I only go by what feels right... What I would like to see on-screen. If I feel like clapping, hooting or whistling as I listen to the narration, I go ahead and do the film," Sonakshi said.
The actress is pairing up with Akshay Kumar for the third time after 'Joker' and 'Rowdy Rathore'.
